Amazon.com Review

Say goodbye to plastic garbage bags, jerry-rigged cardboard boxes, and duct tape when January rolls around and its time to pack up those Christmas decorations. GKI/Bethlehem Lighting offers lightweight, compact storage solutions that make the post-holiday cleanup a lot less, well, improvisational. This heavy-duty nylon bag holds an artificial tree up to 9 feet tall, zipping wide open for easy placement and then offering a roomy, supportive interior to prevent crushing or warping. Two cinch straps cross the top to secure the tree inside, and a reinforced handle makes it easy to transport the whole package to the garage, basement, or attic. Want to get really organized? Tie a tag onto the handle and mark what’s inside. You’ll thank yourself next December. The bag’s attractive green color has a cheerful holiday feel and can take a bit of dust and scuffing that might come with stowing. Matching wreath and garland bags are also available. –Kara Karll

This bag is thick and sturdy. It comes with straps for the limbs and the handles on the outside are easy to use. It is large so it takes 2 people to carry a large tree but is much better than the plastic bags sold locally. I’ve needed one like this for years.

I expected that the bag would be difficult to carry down into the basement with the tree inside. Surprisingly, it wasn’t so bad. It fit a very large 7 ft tree with plenty of room for more. I’m glad I made this purchase. I no longer have to dread the twenty trips into the basement to carry individual branches.

Like most folks we’ve been using the same box we purchased the tree in and the box ends up the worse for it. I happened to come across this storage bacgt and figured it’d be worth a try. We have a 7 1/2 foot tree but we had no problems putting it in the bag. Word of warning though – make sure you put the tree one piece at a time. Don’t make the mistake of trying to put the tree in whole! The base of the tree fit as well and even zipping the bag up wasn’t a probkem either! There’s also a pouch inside the bafg where lights or small items can be kept – although I prefer to store them elsewhere! We also had no problems storing the whole thing in the same space we kept the box! It’s a win – win all the way around!
