Led lamps are the way to go…I’ve got 4 strings connected and they only draw 12 watts total. They aren’t as bright as their incandescent equivalents, but the brightness is acceptable and considering the savings in energy they are exceptional!! Of the 4 strings (200 lamps) I had only one lamp that didn’t light, but there are 2 spare lights include with each string. This is surely the way to go for holiday lighting, low wattage and no heat.
