Dimensions Sequined Santa Stocking Felt Applique Kit

This was an easy stocking to complete. The hardest part was embroidering the beard after appliquéing it to create a quilted look. I have done a few stocking kits by Dimensions/Felt Works and find they are easier then stocking kits by Bucilla; they have less pieces and the directions are step-by-step pictures well Bucilla’s are written step-by-step without the pictures. If you have never done stocking from a kit before, this kit would be a great first try.

This stocking turned out wonderful! I ordered more in different varieties and decided to keep them and do them little by little so I’m not rushed right before Christmas. Everyone in the family has one now and my kids are starting to get married so the in-laws to- be are getting them, too. They will also be gifts for the gradkids when they have their first Christmas when we start having them;-)

I have been making Christmas Felt Stockings for my family and friends for many years. This particular stocking is easy to make and looks very nice when finished. It is a good one for a beginning sewer to use and experienced one to sew. Also nice quality.
