A pouch is made with heavy shiny red velvet capped with a white fur trim. Each pouch measures 10″H x 6″W (7 ½” H just below the pull string, which is below the fur). There are 12 pouches on one string, since 24 pouches on one string are too heavy and difficult to hang. Each string measures approximately 43 inches. Therefore, 24 pouches arrives on 2 separate strings which can either can be hanged two different places in the house or made into one long calendar.
